Specially designed for freeriders, the Ortovox FREE RIDER 22 is a new backpack that combines great comfort and functionality for confidently ascending mountains.
This backpack, which provides maximum modularity and freedom of movement while skiing, fits the back like a second skin. Focused on the environment, it is completely PFC-free and carbon neutral, thanks to the use of recycled polyester. Furthermore, this model enhances safety as it is compatible with the CLASP SPINE PROTECTOR back protector, which can be inserted into the bag. Comfort is also a key feature, with a wide, flat, and elastic hip belt, and soft back pads that hold it securely without hindering vertebral movement. The bag’s 22-liter capacity allows for the storage of skins, ski crampons, and other gear, while a separate safety compartment is dedicated to emergency equipment and can be accessed from either the front or back of the bag.
The bag includes numerous attachment options necessary for skis, ice axe, or rope, and features a helmet net, an emergency card, and is compatible with a hydration system.
